I recently visited Brides in the City to look for my dream dress and found exactly that. The team are so bubbly and enthusiastic which makes you instantly relax. We were offered prosecco on arrival which was very kindly topped up throughout the appointment. I love that my bridal party and I were allowed to have a look through the dresses and pull out the ones we liked as I hadn’t been able to do this at any other appointments. Sarah was amazing! She listened to everything I asked for and pulled out a dress she thought I’d love. After trying on a few dresses I had selected, I tried on the dress Sarah recommended and immediately knew it was the one. We tried on a variety of veils and accessories with the dress and I fell in love with it even more. I was so excited to say yes to the dress and celebrate with my bridal party! I can’t wait to go back in and try on my dress when it arrives! The atmosphere in the shop is calming yet exciting and the fitting rooms are gorgeous. They also stock a huge variety of sizes and styles of dresses. I would 100% recommend a trip to Brides in the City as the experience from start to finish was great.

I got married at the end of October and was so pleased with my dress AND had so many compliments on it! The shopping experience was so lovely! As a plus size gal I'd been made to feel so other on my journey to find a dress and these guys were the first people who made me feel like a bride rather than a plus size bride. I really appreciated being able to try on dresses in my size, being listened to and not just shoehorned into massive princess gowns. I fell in love with a dress in the window and while they didn't have that in a plus size i could still try on a smaller size to envisage if I'd love it as much on! My stylist was especially wonderful, she put me so much at ease and helped answer random questions about dresses I might have and just made the whole process so much fun! All the girls there are so kind and positive and willing to help with any queries you may have. Definitely recommend! I loved that it was so simple to make changes to the dress so it felt fully me and fully in keeping with my wedding. I loved my dress so much and it feels so wonderful knowing its uniquely mine.

The girls at brides in the city have outdone themselves again! 🥰. I said yes to my dream dress last September with the help from lovely Vicky. Fast forward to yesterday I got to bring my STUNNING dress home and try it on for the first time for my gran to see🥲. This was from the help of lovely Taylor! I have my first fitting in July and I cannot wait to go back as it’s always such a lovely and welcoming experience. My whole journey so far at brides in the city have been nothing short of amazing!! Thank you for making me feel so special! 💗 xx
